Spent a fantastic day paddling out to beautiful caves and islands with Ivan last week. He has excellent knowledge of the place and is a great teacher - looking at the pictures we are amazed that we (family of beginners, 2 young kids) managed to paddle so far! Thanks again.

Unforgettable kayaking the Elaphiti Islands with Borna! We had an absolutely amazing trip with Adriatic Kayak Tours exploring the Elaphiti Islands. From the very beginning, everything was handled perfectly by Ivan — smooth booking, clear communication, and helpful logistics that made the whole experience stress-free. Our guide, Borna, was fantastic. He’s clearly very experienced, extremely knowledgeable about the area, and made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. He struck the perfect balance between sharing interesting local history and nature facts while keeping things fun and relaxed. The paddling was beautiful — crystal-clear Adriatic water, stunning island scenery, hidden coves, and plenty of opportunities to swim and enjoy the peacefulness away from the crowds with amazing food!! This was the best kayak trip I have ever been on! This is my 3rd trip with the Fantastic Adriatic Kayak Tours, and each trip just gets better and better. The kayaking was amazing, with the most beautiful blue water both around Mljet and in Tara. I loved the variety of activities, from hiking and exploring old Roman ruins to sea kayaking to pack rafting to rafting and snorkeling. So many options, and we could have biked if we had wanted to. The biggest things about this trip that stand out to me are the scenery/location, the quality of the experience, and the quality of the guide. Mljet is absolutely stunning, and I can't wait to go back. Tara river is something I will always remember, from its beauty to the fun and excitement of the waves. Add to that the quality of the equipment and accommodations . . . every place we stayed was amazing, with outstanding food (soooo much food!), and the kayaks we used were new and in fantastic condition. Love that we were the first to use the new carbon fiber paddles :) But it all comes down to the guide and the company. Ivan Piper is simply outstanding. He cares about his clients and their experience, and it is obvious in everything he does. He makes sure we are set up for fun and safety, and I appreciate his ability to adapt to situations when weather or other factors throw a wrench in the plans. I wish all guides could be like Ivan! I can't wait to see what new adventures AKT offers so I can sign up for next year (and the next, and the next)!. Thank you so, so much for this amazing and fun adventure :) I will be back . . . .

I worked with Ivan before completing my booking and he completely provided everything I requested. I was a bit picky too having a few extra needs, and he booked me into a hotel that provided the space I needed. I was separated from the group in fact but it worked out flawlessly. The paddling we did daily was perfect for all of us, we all had some experience at different levels. Our guide Dom catered to all our needs with a smile, I had a hard time carrying the boat and he’d at times transport it for me. (Before and after our paddles mostly). Every day we a different scenery and varied experiences, swimming in a cave, visiting a botanical garden, and even cycling after paddling to the island. The food was great, every meal cooked to perfection. It was a great week island hopping and I’d highly recommend it.

We just had a week kayaking with Ivan, based out of Lopud. Every aspect was 5*. Amazing waters, landscape and kayaking tailored to our experience. It’s great when you can tell how much your guide loves to kayak. Ivan had a confident and calm sense of adventure, and had lots of ideas and options. The icing on the cake was the dolphins we saw on the last day. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves to be on the water and close to nature, regardless of whether you are new to kayaking or a pro!! Planning our next trip already.

Great guides, food, location accommodations and kayaks, all in one of the most beautiful, historic, friendly areas in the world. Management is very helpful, speaks English and is willing to work with you to make your adventure exciting and pleasurable. They have a number of trip options, depending on your skill level and areas of interest. Hopefully, I'm going back later this year. Highly recommended.
